I recently recieved a used pair of Grados (sr80) and now the left side falls off the metal spindel. The plastic transducer holder and the spindel have sepereated. Is there any repairs for this, or replacement headbands out there or mods????? Please any info would be great.

Thank you in advance!!

The metal spindel from the headband that connects to the plastic "U" shaped bracket holding the transducer, has seperated from the plastic. I have thought of heating up the metal rod and reinserting it but I am afraid of maing it worse.

second Canman on the service call,

I've had only great experiences with the repair dept at Grado Labs. Their provide excellent customer service. I think they charge a flat fee for some repairs if your cans are out of warranty already.....

I have a simular problem with my SR-80's, the plastic cap on the metal post popped off and fell down my heat vent. I would like to get a replacement cap. Does anyone know Grado's phone number? Thanks.
