Kansas,
Good day everyone, Hope all is well. We'll I need some help. I am new to the hifi/audiophile community. I just purchased some Dan Clarke Aeon 2 Noir's. After a lot of research I found that they are power hungry. I am getting conflicting answers from the manufacturer and an online retailer. So I came here for some help. I am looking for a amp/dac with Bluetooth capability or without, with would be preferable, less cords would be better as I will be carrying them in my pocket often for long periods of time hooked up to an iphone12. I was looking at the ibasso btr5. The manufacturer(Dan Clarke) says that it will drive them well, however the online retailer(Headphones.com) says they will not because it doesn't have enough power. Any suggestions on a different amp/dac that will drive them or an answer to whether the btr5 will do the job would be much appreciated. Thanks to everyone for taking the time to read this and hope you all have a wonderful day, rest of the week and weekend. Sincerely, Shawn. P. S. The budget I have is $100.00-$650.00

I've been doing more research. What are your thoughts on the chord mojo with the poly?
It sounds terrific, but it's not worth the money, the frustration, and the long, long learning curve.

Dang, I wish I would have seen your reply a little sooner lol. I already pulled the trigger on it as the reviews were of the chart. I think everyone is in agreement that it is the best in class Looks like I have some learning to do. Thanks again, Mr. Mightygray

The mojo sounds “good”. If you don’t like it, you can probably sell it in the classifieds. The Poly for me was a different issue. I couldn’t get it to work. To the point that it’s basically a paperweight for me along with the Mojo. Should be decent, if it works for you.

I'd take a phono or an ipod that's guaranteed to 'play' whenever I want to listen to music over a fickle, bug-plagued set-up like the Mojo/Poly.

Anyway, if you are are not happy or frustrated with the mojo + poly, try this one.
Qudelix-5K, it's a nice DAC/AMP with Bluetooth.
It's better than BTR5
