Hi, I'm gonna buy a headphone for FPS Gaming on xbox 360 (and 15% movies and music on pc), and I've been reading on this forum
for a long time, but I need some help, because I'm from Spain, and It's difficult to find some headphones at good price.

I'm between:

-Sennheiser HD 555 or HD 595. I can get the 555 for about 85€ with shipping in Spain or buy used ones cheaper (about 60€).
The 595 are expensive (135€ w/shipping) but I can buy an AD595 with about 750h for 75€

-JVC/Victor RX900. I can get them for 71€ w/shipping from an UK shop. I've heard you can mod them.

-Philips HP910. can buy them from US in ebay and they are still cheap 60€ W/shipping and VAT from ebay. If you mod them they are equal to the AD700. Are they comfortable?

-AD700. They were my favorite, but I only can buy them from US and the shipping and VAT's are expensive.
Do you know an UK shop where I can buy them for a good price?

So, what do you recommend me. I think the best option is to buy and mod the philips or the JVC. Where can I buy the materials
to mod? I'm a noob, is it easy to mod? After modding, which one is better? And more comfortable? Do you recommend me any shop?

Thanks (and sorry for my English xD)

PS: If you want to know my preferences about what is comfortable or not, here there are some heapdhones I tested in a shop which I feel very comfortable:

-Most of the sennheiser HD series (HD 201, HD 438, HD 515, 555....)

-AKG 514

I have had the HD595s and I did not like them for gaming. They are boring and uninvolving cans.
My vote goes to the DT770. It is closed, freaking comfortable and has enough bass for gaming.

+1 for DT770pro for gaming

The d770 pro are 138€ and the hp 53€. I'm looking something cheaper, and I think I'll get the hp. I'd go with the AD700, but in my country are difficult to get and I've read that the HP 910 are very closed to them.

Keep an eye out on the for sale forums here. Perhaps you can snatch a 2nd hand pair for cheap! Most head-fiers are honest and very careful about their equipment.

. I've been looking, but at the moment I haven't found anything interesting for me because I don't know many cans and because not everyone ships to Spain.

Anyway, what do you think. At the moment AD700 are expensive (100€), senn 555 aren't very recommended and they're about 85€. JVC RX900 cost 71€ and finally Philips HP 910 cost 53€.

I've heard good things about Beyer's, but at the moment I don't have enough money.

Do I go for the Philips? Any other model at a similar price range (50-75€)?

Here's a review of them: Philips HP 910 Reviews :: Headphone Reviews

Yes, my first option was AD700, but with fees and shipping it becomes about 90€. That's the reason I'm searching an alternative, because my budget isn't very big.
I'm not very sure. At first I was going to buy senn HD 555 in Spain, but it aren't very recommended over here.
Then I found RX900. Some people loved them after modding, other people said it were a level under ad700's.
Then I found HP 910, cheap, similar to ad700... but not many people has tried them.

OK, actually I'm stuck between RX900 and HP910. I've been reading on some forums, and the RX900 are a good option for the budget with a good SQ near to AD700, more bass, less sound leakage...but I think I'll go with the HP910 since they are 20€ cheaper and some reviews talk very well about them, the problem is that they aren't very popular cause philips stopped manufacturing them about 10 years ago and there aren't many opinions arround there.
Anyway, I accept more suggestions. Any final thought?
