Hello i am new on the hi-fi world, currently i listen music mainly while traveling and in my home. So i own portable pairs of heaphones, the sennheiser momentums in ear and urbanites, and i have been mainly using my smartphone to power them. If I want to improve my audio quality, getting a dap would be a good idea? Or do i need other kind of headphones to hear any diference.
And if its worth a dap, what dap would you recommend for me to buy a fiio m3k or a hifiman megamini? or any other affordable dap if know others.

I loved the pioneer xdp 30r... they can be bought at a budget, have great compatability (inc mqa) and have balanced output too. I certainly boticed a big difference in sq beyween the xdp 30r and my phone at the time (Galaxy S6+).

Thanks, thats why i was thinking to buy the m3k it cost around 100 with an sd card plus shipping and taxes ( i dont live in the US) and it also can be used as an usb dac, so i think i will go for it

kill two with one stone. Used LG V10 and you still get to have your music on the phone, better hp out than any dap you will find at $100. Grab a copy of USB Audio Player Pro or Neutron. Total cost under $100.
