HELP: about Apogee Duet or Predator

After read some of the post in this forum I start to narrow down my targets for my computer audio upgrade.

I start with understanding the Mac's only Apogee Duet as I am a Macbook pro user, this product seem like very good companion with my laptop. I read many posts that comparing Duet with Pico, and my conclusion after read through these post is that I am not interest with Pico, because of that "no day out Pre-order" selling method and not really better than Duet.

By now I make my targets in two: Duet or Predator. Duet have a great advantage that being with input option, with I can live without that as I mainly use Duet for listening only, and I can buy Duet in local store (as I live in Hong Kong) which I can only buy Predator through online. For Predator, it can use with my Macbook pro also and I can use that with my iPod too, which very attract me, and the price is quite the same with Duet.

Other than input concern and compatibility with portable player, what I am missing?

It really depends on your intended usage. I tried both and kept the Duet. I also did not really need the portability and with my desktop cans, AKG 701, there was no contest, with the Duet clearly ahead. Not taking anything away from the Predator, it is great in it's own right and for it's intended use.
