Hey hows it going, i just got the denon D2000 and when i try to listen to stuff on my computer the sound is really weird, like an echo or something. Not sure what to do how do i set it up correctly to work good? Thank you. Also my creative program wont detect the headphones because they are not usb probably.

Provide a little more information (set-up wise: PC, sound card, media software, etc.) and I am sure you will get a response or two...I know that Windows Media Player has some settings like SRS that may be giving you some issues or unusual performance characteristics.

Sorry about that, i have a high end pc i7 extreme 8 gigs of ram, sound card is a sound blaster xi-fi and using vista. I play movies/tv shows on VLC. I plugged the headphones into the headphone jack in the front of my dell xps.

look in your driver settings for the x-fi, and see if it is set for speakers or if some "surround mode" for gaming is turned on. the driver should be set to headphone mode and no special surround modes should be engaged. My sister has a similar, but older dell and I had a similar experience to what you described when I plugged some Sennheisers in the Computer when it was set to a speaker mode in the driver, changing the mode fixed things.
