Hi all.
I love good sounding audio, and have joined for a little advice.
I've always loved sound.

I am almost blind. I don't think this has given me better ears than anyone, but I think it has given me an appreciation for sound space which I'm sure many of you will share on here, if you're music lovers, or whatever else.

I actually come here for a bit of advice. I'm behind the times a little with tech. I recently turned all of my music into flac format and was so happy with the result.
I see a lot of stuff is out there now to reproduce excellent sound.

I'm joining up to see if anyone can recommend to me a portable DAC it music player, and amp that I could use with some nice headphones like the sennheiser hd700/800?

I have a little Sony a15 music player and fiio headphone amp.

Anyway, hello to you who got to the bottom, and any advice appreciated

hi there and welcome, have you a specific budget in mind? I remember the first time I changed all my music to FLAC, was a good day :)

Just to break it down, are you looking for a digital music player, a portable headphone AMP and stand alone DAC, or AMP/DAC combo?

Also, are you looking for headphone suggestions or are you set on buying one of the Senns you mentioned?

Hi guys.
I'm sorry for my site response.

I'm fairly set on the Sennheiser HD700, Mostly budget, I want some money left for an amp.

An I right in thinking that there isn't a portable music player that will power these?

I'd like something semi portable, but if a portable headphone amp/DAC wing do then justice, then I'm open to suggestions :)
