easily.
i bought some senn hd485's( was gonna buy some BOSE headphones before droppin by mistake in here..now i know) and i was just wondering what amp can i use to start, i know myself (ebay item #5876705088) i want to get this amp. will it work for my headphones??? what amp can i get, i read and i know it sounds perfect without an amp(up to what i have read) but i want to test this. amp with headphones is so new to me you wont believe how much. i live in the dominican republic dont know if some members are but what amp can u guys suggest even to improve a lil bit.
i currently have a mini ipod and planning to get iaudio???? or still stick with ipods??????opinions very appreciated
so tell me guys about the amps.
i like listening to deep house artists like gaelle and lisa shaw.
laid back music.
and im waiting by the second to be in this world you guys live in. i like listening to music in headphones my choice #1 and have always used whateva headphones not knowing what was out their and i bought some noise cancelling panasonic headphones(dj like, thinking it was the ultimate headphone) i dont even know the model(i am at the office) but i know they suck(now that the hd485's are coming) and cant wait to compare the difference in audio. its like a 6 year old with presents!!!!
regards,
Marco

welcome to head-fi, sorry about your wallet! if you like deep house with big soundstage, i think going down the Sennheiser path is just fine. you have an ipod mini, which unfortunately is one of the lower sound quality DAPs, so although I have never heard an iAudio, I don't see why it wouldn't be an improvement. As for amps, I would wait until your new source comes, listen to it with your new headphones for a while, then post here again saying what you feel is lacking. then we can help you choose a nice amp!
