Just curious. This Rogue Power Amp I got is like 55 pounds or something. Pain in the ass trying to move it after it's been running a while. (there's 10 tubes running in there)

Hm.. my heaviest piece of gear would have to be the rack on which my ears sit. Vibration dampening was increased through extensive trips to the taco truck, servings of gravy fries and loco moco from the local hawaiian eatery, etc. I think it's up to about 220 lbs... Yep, by far the heaviest piece of gear...

As far as I know, none of my audio gear exceeds 35 lbs. So, my heaviest bit of gear is probably my computer. Fully loaded with PCI cards and drives, it's about 50 lbs.

With the JMT META42 and banana hanger sitting on top of it, it's about 50.5 lbs.

Do you own a small forklift specifically for the purpose of moving things in and out of your listening room?

You should try moving our Aleph 1.2s around. A little over 100 pounds a channel and the chassis is basically one big heatsink running at a constant 120 deg F. For some reason I'm the one who always gets that job.

I'm the heaviest component in my system, but I'm a lightweight: 130lbs (I'm a short, skinny little b#@!$^). Otherwise my computer comes in next at around 40lbs or so, I think. My monitor beats it, but isn't an audio reproduction device so I guess it may not count. Everything else I have for audio is lightweight.
