Well Cobra is almost going to die for me so I need some health insurance. maybe Short term (6months). at work I used to have blue cross blue shield and I would like to stick with my doctors if possible..well if i get dental then i want KenW..but thats besides the point. i need prescription..good prescription plan. any help? any advice?

i looked at a few places online at i get quoted like $500.oo for six months which i thought it would be more..maybe its the plan I am looking at or something.

i want to keep my docs and get presciption mainly...big parts of my thing you know?

Age, general health, prexisting conditions and coverage effect cost. The first three you can't do much about, the fourth you can play with. Dental, office visits, RX and deductable are areas you can cut back on or eliminate. If you're young, >40 and self-coverage is short term, like the 6 months you indicate I'd buy just Major medical with a high deductable......but if you need dental work, well you get the picture.

True enough, but you have to make compromises in life
