Got this amp a couple of weeks ago and realized that I need a new pair of headphones. Tried the amp with my existing HP890, but compared to my SPFI5:s there was alot missing. But getting a "perfect seal" with these SPFI5 really kills me so I want some nice sound without plugging somethuing into my brain =)

So, is the Headsix amp enough for HD650?
Or is any other headphone in that range recommended? (preferable cheaper)

Thanks

In my humble opinion a Headsix is nowhere near powerful enough to drive a pair of HD650's.

The Headsix is afteral a portable headphone amp and the HD650's are certainly not designed as a portable headphone.

I have a set of HD580s and I think that my headsix sufficiently drives them

The HD580s are rated at 300ohms.
