Everyone is bidding far too early on this player, pricing it out of the market

$123 / £77 - and it still has over a week to run... this is either gonna crash and burn... or break some records...

....I can only imagine that the seller is rubbing his hands with glee right now

Guys,

A good price for D-777 should be around 130 to 160 dollars. If you bid above that.....it is too expensive.

Why it looks blue and not gray? I know it's not d-e905, on the d-e905 it's written in 2 lines under "DISCMAN ESP".

I got my d-e905 for $105 and Imho it's a bargain for the Sound that it has, If I knew it's that good I would pay even $300-$350(as it is almost knew), In my opinion this is the Best sounding "portable" player of them all, I never heard all of them But I've heard many panasonics and Sonys, pretty old and New/modern ones, They SUCK widely! in terms of sound and exterior design.

One model comes to mind to counter this statement IMHO

scott,
You guys are doom, I don't think anyone can outbid that 50th-State guy on the D-515, he collects PCDPs like madness, and money is no object for him.
