Also have an iPod Nano to pair with the Shures and sometimes hook up to the Total Bithead if I don't want to boot up the laptop.
I am very happy with my current setup but I would like to experience more of what the Sennheiser HD650s are capable of.
The Portable Micro Amp has caught my interest since I would like to maintain a small footprint for an amp/dac and having a built in rechargable battery is a big plus too. Can anyone provide some insight to how big of an improvement I would be looking at if I upgraded from the Total Bithead to the Portable Micro Amp with DAC?
- A large collection of high bitrate MP3s on my laptop (320 kbps when possible)
- A Total Bithead
- Sennheiser HD650s
- Shure SE420s
