Headroom Home Balanced

I read a post recently and I forget who wrote it. Sorry. The Headroom home balanced apparently laid bare the faults and worts of computer sourced MP3 music and also CDs as played through the computer.

Always from the start, with my rig I have continued to listen to flawless sound played through my imac G5>itunes>aac lossless>see sig please. Music as pure and crystal clear as I have ever heard anywhere. My CDs would be considered much, much less than sterling by the overwhelming majority of all of you.

I would love some comments here. My Three best amps are and have been the Blue Hawaii, KGSS DX, MPX3. My cans have been numerous and those presently here are in my sig. What is going on here? Are my ears not able to detect flaws? Maybe I should just hold them and be happy?

I think I need a dynamic amp, maybe not. I'm starting to think about the HHB. When I receive my ES-1, I will have an extra Electrostatic amp. I know I will love both. Help me out here, guys.

If you are asking why this person thinks Computers are bad sources and you can't detect it then:

I don't see any technical reason why computers should be bad sources as long as the rips are perfect copies. There is the problem of jitter but I don't see it as a major problem or any worse than having a separate DAC and CD player without some kind of global clock. In fact I read there are ways of implementing USB DACs that eliminate jitter totally. I guess there is always the problem of noise but as there is a digital signal coming out of the computer to the DAC it shouldn’t interfere with it?

Sorry Ken, I'm really not sure what you are asking here. I have owned a Balanced Home with Max Modules from the '05 revision, but I can't really help you until I know exactly what you are trying to find out.
