Headphones w/ 2.5 mm jack

So I came home recently and found out that my Mom got a new DAP while I was at work. She doesn't care for anything other than the fact that it works and plays back video and that it was cheap. As it turns out, this player does not have the standard 3.5 mm mini headphone jack, rather it has a 2.5 mm jack. Most likely, I'm probably heading out to get her a very basic pair of headphones and a 3.5-2.5 mm adapter if I can find one right in town. Since I may have to go online anyhow to get said adapter, I was wondering if anyone happens to have experience with a pair of headphones that come terminated at 2.5 mm and that they would recommend as good or decent at a minimal price? (If the phones are >$30-$40, my mom would freak that anyone went to the trouble to buy them.)

try out the local cell phone shops... i got a 3.5->2.5 adaptor from one of those small accessory shops in the mall here, seems to work fine with everything i plug into it...

Radioshack has a 2.5 to 3.5 adapter for $10, plus S&H. Works fine. Also have them at BestBuy.
