Headphones under 120$

A friend of mine looking towards buying headphones for mainly for gaming and music, which one do you recommend? 
also, in this price range should he get a chinese brand (superlux takstar) or is going for a well know brand worth it?

EDIT : the budget is actually up to 170$ if theres something better at that range.
