What sound signature do you prefer? Bass, treble or a more neutral sound?

What is the source you are listening from and do you need closed backs or is a open headphone ok?

I mainly listen from laptop with Fiio e10k but often in public area (I am programmer so basically I always bring laptop wherever I go). I once tried grado sr60e and I love the sound, but I don't like it's sound leakage. So i prefer closed one, any suggestions ?
Phillips Shp9500 grado sr225 ath m40x for headphones
Hifiman re400 for inear
Gorerotted sounds great on the grados

Thanks for the suggestion but I prefer closed headphones. Are m40x's response fast enough to "catch" death metal's blastbeat drums?

Yep the m40x Will be able to handle it. They are better suited for metal band the M50x more neutral not as much overpowering Bates. But the base is still suite on the M40x
Also check out the Fostex t40rpmk3 A will sound fantastic With the fiio e10k
