This hobby (obsession) is now creeping into my TV and movie watching. Does anyone else find themselves trying to identify the brand and model of any and all headphones that appear in movies or on TV?

I was watching some behind the scenes footage of "Mulan"... they used DT770s in the studio. They were all black, and had coiled cords.

**edit... bored tonight, here are some screen caps....**

I never found Michelle Kwan that attractive... but somehow in those DT770s...

Will Ferrell has AKG 240M's in the movie "Old School", a pair of Grados (a black model) were being used in the Stephen Speilberg mini-series called "Taken"

I was watching the grand prix the othe day, and the drivers (after they took their helmets off) appeared to be removing some rather tasty looking custom IEM's. I have no idea who makes them, though. Friends were disgusted that this was more interesting than the fast cars... pah!

Yeah, i usually watch a morning news program every morning and on every Friday's they interview various radio studios on stage. The first thing that i saw every studio had was the gold cup from the AKG's, i was thinking, "i want one"

I was watching the aviator, and the headphones they have look like modified grado's in a way, they're meant to look old school, and they do... they have the "antennae" but were obviously modified... not really sure on that one..

IIRC, Howard Stern uses V6's. I've also seen them and AKGs(240m?) in various studio clips.
