What are some good phones for running in the 50$ range?
I tried running with the Shure E3C but it's unbearable to me.

When I run I listen to stuff like Van Halen and techno\trance or anything else that has a sense of adrenaline in it. I guess bass is not as important as good hi's and mid's (Though a techno\trance beat with no bass is very lacking to me) if I want a fast feel, but you know what's out there better than I.

Thanks to all

koss ksc75 would be recommended sound wise, but they are clip ons and that may be a problem. v-moda bass freq stays in well, also in the price range. You not gonna get any great highs in this price range, but mids and bass are rather solid on the bass freq.

Are v-moda's IEM? If so I'd rather stay away because when running it's really unpleasant.

I'm not looking for audiophile- level sound. I'm well aware that in this budget I won't be getting amazing levels. What I ment by saying hi's and mid's over bass, is to not have bloated bass and because of that "heavy" and "slow" sound.
I need something that is firm in my ears mostly though. How's the PX200 for running? I'm afraid it will move around a bit when running.

Give ksc75 a shot, they are clip-ons, and they are like 10 bucks on amazon.com. px200 might have problems with the fact that they don't really clip on or anything and that would not be great on the run, tried that idea already with a different model.

bass-freq is weird - its an earbud but with a sleeve-like extension for a seal. They are rather bassy so that is not making you happy - avoid em obviously.

I personally use v-moda vibe for active movement - rock climbing(indoor) and biking - and they produce no problems - but they are much lighter than any other iem, but that I guess you have to try. I tried running with im716 and that was terribly ticklish/tugging on my ears.

- the top seller, new ksc75 - 9.99. Freaaaky how cheap these things get.

you can consider the behind-neck version of the PX200 --- the PMX200.

if not another recommendation for the KSC-75.
