I can't find the Schiit Fulla for purchase in UK. E10K and Soundblaster Z are on par with price, so not sure which is better? Virtual surround as in helping with positional audio in games? I don't know if I need virtual surround.

Totally understand. Sometimes the anticipation is such you are just ready to get it

So I've never had an amp before, how exactly should I use it? I currently have my windows sound at 50 and the amp at max (8) with high enabled at the back. I've got it plugged in to USB, got my speakers plugged in the back and my headphones in the front. Do I just set the FiiO as my default speakers now on windows? Is it bad that I need it at max?

Best to typically try Windows sound at maximum volume so that it's properly feeding the E10K and then use the E10K volume to control the volume. And yes. You'll need it to set to high gain, and then select it in the Windows sound control panel.
