Well, well, well. I made quite the mistake today. Destroyed my Beyerdynamic DT250 80ohm headphones when it started pouring and they were in my bag. Teaches me for not taking good care of my things. In all honesty, I'm not all that upset about it. Spoilt me wasn't all that happy with them.
I found their soundstage and immersion factor to be almost non-existent. I hear stories of people playing games or listening to certain musical recordings and feeling like they're in the room with the singer. I absolutely did not feel this in the slightest and it's what I'm looking for most. Also I definitely will be getting open ear cans instead of closed this time. I prefer natural sounding, but if it's got a bass oomph I don't mind. I found the bass on the 250's to be very nice sounding but I wouldn't mind even more exaggeration. My budget is $450AUD. What would you recommend?
