Hi, I am new to headphones in general. I have no idea which are better or which are worse, so i thought i could come here and get some help. My question is, what headphone would i buy with a range of $150 that blocks outside noise. I want headphones because earbuds,earphones don't feel comfortable.

If you want full on noise-cancelling, I'd recommend you go up to $200 and get the Audio-Technica ANC7.

If you just want a closed headphone, get the Equation Audio RP-21 or Beyerdynamic DT-770 (32ohm version if you don't have amp) depending on wether you value accurate presentation or thumping bass.

If you want something in between, get the flat-sounding but very-isolating-without-a-noise-cancelling-function Sennheiser HD280 Pro.
