Ok, I have a pair of HP-AK100 headphones that I use. (I know they are cheap and not the greatest compaired to what I have been reading, but I am just starting.) I was wondering if someone can suggest a place to pick up a mount to hang a pair of headphones on the wall by where I sit. I have seen them at audio stores and have not been able to track one down myself. I was thinking of the mounts that are curved so that they hang on it like they are on your head. I can't think of a better way to put it.

Also for future reference is this a bad way to store your headphones?

Do you want to hang them on the wall, or would you consider a table-top solution?? You could find some nice banana hangers in Linens and Things or Target or Organized Living. The one I bought cost me $12 and is available at Linens and Things. Check these models from Linens and Things.
Not a bad way to store your headphones, if your place is dust free.

I was actually looking for a single headphone mount. No need for additionals yet. When that time comes around I will want it set up next to a nice listening area.

It was a wall mount one I was looking for though, not table. Dust-free my place is not, but I have just installed a bunch of ionic breezes in the house to try to fix that.

zuerst - that is quite convincing proof that ufo's do exist.

Hangers work fine for headphones with rigid headbands.

But they are not a good choice for headphones with a suspended "sling like" headband. It's is really best to lay them flat on a soft surface, but that does take up a lot more room.

My R10's have their own little "temple".

Have fun cleaning them

. The filters get dirty fast and the whole system was not as effective as I had thought. Well to me, for the money, I expected better.

Thx for the banana hanger idea, looks elegant (especially with those Grados) and simple.
