Headphone stands.

I purchased some banana/mug stands like these at Walmart the other day - $4 each. The banana hanger is great for big phones, and the mug tree works well for PortaPro's and smaller phones. The Walmart version banana hanger even had a little plastic banana for the hanger instead of a wire type shown in this pic - so it doesn't mark up the headband.

My system is in a set of shelves. I screwed a polished brass coat hook to the edge of one of the uprights, works well, and was 5 bucks or so for a good looking hook at Home Depot / Lowes.

Sorry that I don't actually have the answer to the question you asked.

I have 3 headphone stands from TTVJ and 2 have the same height and one is a little shorter...both are good for large headphones I have the K1K, DT880, HD650 on it, but if you really need to, I will measure it tonight.

I found a couple of hooks, which my two Sennheisers hang from. The hanger that comes with the 595 is ideal to hang twin tube headbanded 'phones on, ala my A900s.

I could seperately post, but its pretty stand related.. all apologies if this is a hijack.

I notice on my W1000's that the pads are getting manipulated slightly by the force of the two compressing while not on my head. I don't really notice it so much for the wearing of them but everyone once and a while I pick them up and look at it and figure it can't be good.

Can this become a negative affect to the point of wanting to avoid it with a stand that has a equal pressure distribution "pad" of sorts that helps this? Or is it really not such a big deal, maybe an earlier pad replacement and that a hook system will be easily sufficient?
