Headphone stand suggestions?....again

just a thought: does anyone know what could possible hold an A-T headphone (besides heads)? just wondered because the different type of headband it uses wouldn't work with stands at all.. btw, the skull looks like it can stretch headphones into oblivion.

lobster: was there on friday, nada. gonna try the emeryville one this week.

kin3tix: i agree about the skull...i dont want the pressure on the pads either, or stretch out the bands...and i was wondering about ATs myself, since im becoming more and more interested in getting some.

the banana hanger, with mods, seems like a good idea. im also considering modding one of those paper towel stands which holds the paper towels veritically....like this. i may try to attach a beam horizontally across the top, so that one set of headphones would be on one side of the center column, and the other phones hanging off the other side...seems like a cheap and possible attractive solution to me. there are metal or wood stands to choose from...

keep the ideas coming, great stuff so far (esp if you want to freak out lil kids with that alien skull)

uncledan, you're a proud W2002 A-T owner. how do you store these phones? do you have some special stand to keep it on? or is it inside an indestructable steel safe with an all out security system?

Last weekend, I brought my headphone(W2002) and shop around to get something to hold my headphone. When I asked sales for headphone stand in RadioShack, they had no idea what I am talking about. Then I keep looking around the mall, I tried to put my headphone on candle stand, cloth hanger.....etc. Finally, I found Banana Holder is the best fit for A-T headphone. We all know that A-T headphone design is different from other brand. Most of A-T headphone have 2 thin wires at the top, which works prefectly with banana holder. Of course, please get a good looking banana holder. Try to get a metal one, I choose a shinny blank metal banana holder and it looks very nice!!!!

I really want to show you guys a pic, however I don't have a digital camera, it sucks. I bought the banana holder from Home Sense, which is a Canadian own company. The banana holder cost me $13.5 include taxes, not bad at all. And it looks pretty cool. But I believe it only work for A-T headphone, since A-T have 2 thin wires, so the banana holder can hold one of wire. But for other headphone, such as HD-600, it does not work very nice.

This is what I got (almost 80% the same), but in colour of black.
