Yeah, highs in terms of performance were completely different, but soundstage differences don't register well with me when it comes to open vs. closed. Just a personal nitpick I suppose. I still love how the 940's work for every genre. IF EQ'D RIGHT

I'll have to try EQing but the stock SRH940 was just overly tinny/bright with no bass at all.

Saw someone the other day wearing a pair of sony XB-700s and they looked EXTREMELY comfortable, also saw someone with a cheap pair of sennheisers but didn't get a good look at them except for the headband.

I can't believe you can't hear the low end on the 940's, it's definitely there.

I saw someone on a bus passing by wearing Sony headphones with red accents similar to the new MDR-1 headphone, but it had a folding/swivel? hinge mechanism. I was staring at them the whole time the bus passed by because I was so excited that I thought they were the new MDR-1, until I saw the folding/swivel hinge.

My parents are from Trinidad. I visit there every two years, but it seems to me that now we're visiting every year since my grandfather keeps having all these heart problems....
