Saw a guy with HD202 on the train yesterday. Lots of iBuds of course. There was a young kid (teenager at most) with what I thought was a Bose Triport.

One time I saw a guy who was pretty much dressed like an all out hipster walking down the street with his girlfriend while wearing AKG K701s, which is ridiculous even by my standards. I wonder what kind of source he was using or if he was even listening to music at all.

Yesterday on the train I saw a girl with pink closed circumaural headphones that were EXACLY the same color as her pink coat, which I thought was kind of cool, at first I thought they looked like KOSS over ear ones, but they turned out to be these Panasonics. She was looking at me too, probably because, wearing D1001s I was the only other person on the train with circumaural headphones on.

A couple of cheap Sonys as well....

Sounds like my campus too. Infestation is a very good term to describe the SK prevalence among teens. But I ain't buying it.

A girl in my journalism class had a senn pxc on, i dont know if it was a 350 or a 450 though, was for sure one of them.

also, a young kid who sits at the bus stop with me often sports his grado sr80s
either he doesnt speak english or totally ignores me when he has them on because i asked which model they were, and never got a reply. Heh.

Not one headphone sighting for how many years for me?

I never see anyone with the headphones we talk about. Nobody I know cares for this kind of stuff! I don't know, in person, anyone who is a headphone audiophile. I have two friends whose dads are into speakers, though... and that's about it. I live in the silicon valley! Densely packed area of technology!

This is depressing.

It also seems that in some parts of Europe, people actually take time out of their day to dedicate it to listening to music, while doing nothing else. This is what we should be doing. We shouldn't [only] (depending on how you look at it) be listening to headphones while talking and hanging out with people on campus. Don't just hear the music! Take time to listen to it!

Some of us don't have time to fulfill basic biological functions, never mind having a dedicated music hour. I'm pretty sure 98% of my listening has been done with IEMs this month, which makes me feel so bad for my home setup that I want to sell it.
