I totally agree, even though I would like to take my X3 everywhere its not always possible with the limited pocket space. I usually pair my Hifimediy android DAC with my phone for an OTG solution...

I hate having that bar at the top of the screen. I find the AK120 is so much more classy (which I prefer) while the AK100ii has a more modern look (which is fine to prefer too =P)

I have no problems with the UI for the AK120 besides the limited EQ function

Saw an university student wearing Sennheiser IE80's on the bus today. While leaving school passed by a bearded white dude in his 20's (looked hipster) wearing Sennheiser HD598's also. Quite a surprise, at my uni most headphones I see these days are Sony's instead of Beats.

A kid in my grade at school has a V-Moda Crossfade, probably the LP. He brings them to school sometimes, but I haven't asked him about them yet. He's got a second pair, black IEMs with blue tips. It goes over the ear and has one of those fixed things that makes sure it doesn't fall off. I bring my much less attractive SRH440s to school. Other than that there aren't many headphones at our school; everyone has the Apple earphones, with a couple Beats and cheap Sonys.
