To not advertise, I run a metal online magazine, we have been reviewing music for 12 years now. We are launching a "gear" section later in the summer and plan to cover headphones from a metal head perspective. I was wondering peoples input into what we should gear the review around. Also looking for some track testing help as well. Currently the structure will be as follows:

1st Section: Introduction about the product
2nd Section: Type of Headphone (portable, full, in-ear etc). This section will also be divided into a few more items, for example I will talk about Gym use with portable, stuff like that.
3rd Section: Performance (song testing)
4th Section: Overall feeling
5th Section: Improvements/Letter to Creators of the headphones (talk about what we feel went wrong and what could make them the "perfect pair."

Songs planned to be used (both FLAC and 320 MP3 tests):

Hard Rock:
- Rage Against The Machine - Rage Against The Machine
- Tool - Lateralus

Metalcore:
- Trivium – Ascendancy

Grind:
- Pig Destroyer - Phantom Limb

Metal:
- Amon Amarth – Twilight of the Thunder God
- At the Gates - Slaughter of the Soul
- Death - The Sound of Perseverance
- Lamb of God - Ashes of the Wake
- Meshuggah - Nothing
- Necrophagist – Epitaph
- Symphony X - The Odyssey (BASS)
- Type O Negative- October Rust

Rock Test:
- Nirvana - Nevermind album

Rap Test:
- Tyler The Creator - Goblin

Any input would be appreciated.

I strongly suggest you look into Guthrie Govan, his "Erotic Cakes" Album is my benchmark for all the headphones I test and review.
