Hey, currently I own a pair of Koss KTXPRO1 headphones which are giving out on me, the left headphone is starting to break. So I'm in need of a new set, but I'm not too sure where to look. My budget is around the $30 - $60 mark.

Genre-wise, I listen mostly to Hip-hop so headphones which have a punchy bass would be nice.
But overall my taste is pretty wide, so headphones which are well balanced is preferred I guess.

Any suggestions will be appreciated, thanks.

The RX700 definitely has nice, clean, punchy bass for the price. It's not that bass heavy stock, but it has big 50mm drivers that take EQing really well. The RX900 is supposed to be even bassier but it gets pretty mixed reviews.

The bassiest Superlux is supposed to be the HD681, there's also the Creative Aurvana Live and AKG K81DJ.

If you don't use glasses, the K81DJ (or K518DJ, depending where you live) is a good choice for cheap bassy cans. But be warned, its clamping force is quite strong.
