I already own a pair of Sennheiser Momentum 1.0 over ear headphones that I have had for a year and a half. I use them a lot, either when I am on my PC (which is a lot of the time) and when I listen to music on my phone when commuting. But..I dont feel that they are great for a great amount of the music I listen to. And I regret buying them due to the price of them at the time.

I listen to lots of music, but really like house/bass a lot. My Spotify playlist consists of lots of house music and the rest is like Imagine Dragons, Mumford and Sons, Foster the people, so quite a few indie groups/artists, etc.

My price range is under £130. I have seen the audio Technica but many say its not for bass. Also, before I bought the Momentum I had the Sennheiser Urbanites on ear. And although being really uncomfortable after 45 minutes so I had to take them back, the bass was...beautiful. It made my hears tingle..where as the Momentums dont do that a lot

Thank you for all the recommendations :) :) !

Do you want open or closed headphones? What Audio Technica are you referring to, the M50X? M40X? Can you describe what you do not like about the sound of the Momentum?

oh wow what a silly mistake from me for not listing other requirements for headphone recommendations, my mistake.

Extra requirements:

-Closed headphones as I like isolation and dont want people to hear my music
-Headphones that can be plugged in. I dont care about wireless or Bluetooth
-Ones that are not too bulky

I am referring to the Audio Technica ATH-MX50

The sound of the Momentums are really nice. I feel its great for a wide range of music. I listen to lots of chillhop on Youtube, jazz, indie and its great for that. But I keep remembering this particular song my friend told me to listen to when I had the Urbanites and the bass on that was amazing, I became super excited. The same song on the Momentums dont give me that amazing feel as the Urbanites did. The song is

Many Thanks

I think in your price range that you ought to look into a Samson Z55, which is sort of a rich man's M50X. The other option I like is the M40X, though I think you will prefer the bass on the Z55, most likely.

Thanks for the suggestion. I presume like you mentioned, the bass for the M50x is not ideal for my music taste but more 'general' music? (which I do listen to a lot of)

What a horrible song to say the least. I wish I could get that time back. Loaded with sub bass but zero content after that.

haha I dont actually listen to that type of music. That song is a "test song" to basically test the bass on headphones and see how good it is. I do still listen to songs with bass but not crazy heavy like that
