Hi guys, I'm Kevin. I've been checking this forum over the past month and finally decided to make a account for myself. I personally own RHA MA750i, ATH-M50 and a Sennheiser Momentum I'm planning to sell (since it doesn't fit my big ears well) and would like to buy two more pairs of headphones:
1. Portable closed headphone that can be driven by an iphone 5s (budget:$400)
The M50s that I bought was the coiled version, so I don't like to carry it around. I personally like a pair that is comfy to wear so I can use it at work and during travels.
2.Headphone and portable DAC/AMP combo (budget:$600)
Preference: I listen to a variety of music from EDM to Jazz and Rock. The M50 I thought was good but I sweat with prolonged use. MA750i is a solid pair of earbuds for the price but I found the highs to be harsh.
So far I've tried the Hifiman 400i and B&O Beoplay H6. The 400i has brilliant and clear sound, the clamping force was on the heavy side. B&O H6 is good but I didn't have a chance to try it with an amp.
I'm sure you guys have more experience in this so what do you think?
