I have asked a headphone recommendation question in a previous thread, but that one seems dying

Here I am trying to get more inputs. I listen to classical and female vocal (folk). What could be a good upgrade from HD590, which I own now, that fit the type of my listening ? I am considering between HD600 (head HD650 is too dark, I like a kind of warm and bright sound), K701 and DT880.

Thank you!

X2 for the K501 for vocal, K400 can do surprinsingly well on small scale classical works.
HD600 (or HD580) has the ability to do everything classical well if you want to consider only one HP.

AKG 701 for open; AKG 271s/272 for closed.

I recommend: K501, HD 600, K701, HD 650, in that order.

The AKG K601 will do fine as well.

I'm not sure if this is appropriate for the forum (let me know if it's not, and I'll delete the post), but I've got a pair of 2003 DT-880s for sale in the FS forum. These headphones are fantastic with classical and vocal-based music.

I see different versions of DT880, 2005 vs. non-specfic etc. What're the difference between different models and which model is recommended? Thanks!

Can someone also comment which one is easier to drive, DT880 vs K701 vs HD600? I have a NAD integrated amp, and according to another folk's answer in my earlier thread, it may handle HD650 sufficient. It may be small difference between these phones, just a matter of taste, so taking the best of their potential from what I have is more of a concern. Also, I see some comments K701 may be worest in terms of comfortable to wear, is that turn?

Thank you all for your inputs!
