Any advice anyone could give me would be welcome.  I have some Monster Beats Tour In-Ear Headpones and the portion which failed first is the wiring near the plug.  Repair of the wiring without replacing the plug seems hopeless, so I was searching (on the web and at some specialty electronics stores) for a replacement plug.  All I can find are larger plugs.  The only "mini" plugs I seem to be able to find are ones which are already attached with wires.  While I understand that I can just connect the wires and be done, since the headphones themselves have the licorice-style cable, changing to a standard black wire at the end is less desirable than just replacing the plug itself.  Does anyone know if there is a place you can obtain JUST the miniature plug (without wires)?  Or is that hopeless (and why)?
