This may seem like a dumb question, but I'm known to risk such ventures.
I ordered the DT250 pads for my Ultrasone HFI-650 and they arrived today. The pads are nice and comfy and fit if perhaps a little snugly. The only problem is that where as the original pleather pads of the Ultrasone had a thin membrane that stretched across the driver, the DT250 velour donuts leave a hole in the middle. Naturally I'd like to have that membrane there but I'd prefer not to destroy the original pleather pads.
So... any idea what material this is? I don't think it's nylon but it's aboutthe same thickness. It's not cotton. What kind of material is usually used to cover headphone drivers? This material is much thinner than the little covers on the Sennheiser HD600.
