Hello all,

First off, thanks to any of those who helped me with my original purchase - this is a really great place to get information.

Unfortunately, my Alessandro MS-1s have developed a wiggle in the headphone jack - it's a very small, nearly sub-millimeter movement that severely disturbs the listening. When it's not just right, entire channels get cut out.

Is there a simple way to fix this?

Thanks again in advance.

I apologize if this is not the right forum for this posting - I thought it was the best fit of the available options.

Yup. there is likely a break in the cable near your plug. Either re-termination (putting a new plug in) or re-cabling would be your best options. There are a number of forum members here who would gladly help you with either choices, or you can contact allessandro to see if they can do that.

I know with Grado, if they are out of warranty, it will cost $30 to re-cable the headphones. (I had the same problem. I ended up recabling them myself for the fun of it)
