The annual Headphone Festival was held on Nov 2nd.
The event was held at the Station Conference Tokyo, where about 80 companies exhibited their products.
Here are some impressions.

First, Danny, CEO of DITA Audio, visited Japan and showed their new KA1 earbuds(or headphones). The KA1 is prototype and we cannot try it yet but I heard interesting story from Danny. The unique feature of KA1 is earpiece-less design with headband which enables semi-open wearing.

The idea behind the semi-open concept of the KA1 with headband and earpiece-less is something similar to fully-open earbuds which is able to hear out-side sound. With KA1, you can hear environmental sound, but with full-open earphones you cannot control the bass. So the semi-open design of KA1 is born. That is, environmental sound aware and good sound quality which DITA Audio delivers. The drivers are decent dynamic driver.
Another feature is there are two type of cable terminals, both of MMCX and 2-pin. This is also to enable the use of either cable, since these are earphones that emphasize sound quality. As well, it delivers another good idea that is to enable the use of TWS-type BT adapters such as the Fostex TM2 and iFi GO Pod, thanks to side-facing 2pin terminals.
The target price is around USD299.

DITA Audio has also introduced another new product called Mecha.
It is a mechanical-like earphone that uses an ultra-light LiMa (lithium magnesium) alloy diaphragm, plus a highly efficient dual magnet. The price was around 120,000JPY. The sound was sharp, crisp, and clear, with a neutral timbre.

final shows new A6000 which will be released on November 14th. A6000 is a big brother of A4000 and I thin the sound is something similar to A4000 but it is of higher sound quality.

Also final shows ZE3000SV a successor of ZE3000 which is one of the pioneer in high-quality TWS. ZE3000 also comes with ANC. I think SQ is better than ZE3000 especially on spatial expansion.

FitEar shows the “Mystery Earphones Large and small”(no name at this moment) they are a test model of their new technology on fitting and internal architecture. They still does not open the details yet.
The white something is stuffed in sound bore but it is confidential yet.
Listening to them, both sound a bit different from the previous fitear house sound, softer, richer, and more open than the recent sharp-tending sound. The larger one is more musical and the smaller ones are more accurate than the larger ones, IMO.
