Hi,
I was wondering how much effect the efficiency of the headphones has on the battery life you get out of your PCDP or IPod?
I just got a pair of the Sharp MD33 and noticed how crazy efficient those are. Maybe a bit too efficient actually. I am just playing a CD on my Panasonic CT800 and on 3/25 it is a bit too quiet, but on 4/25 volume its too loud already. Plus I can hear a bit of background hiss and operating noises when pressing buttons etc which I do not hear with any other of my headphones.
Anyway, back to my question: Would I likely get significant longer battery life when listening at the same perceived volume with these phones vs. say my Grado SR80?
I know I could do the experiment myself to find out but I am too lazy plus the battery life on the CT800 is just too long for that.
