Honestly, i would still say dt770, because they get SO much better with an amp.

DT770 got too much bass for competitive gaming..

Don't leave out the Alessandro series...
I definitely prefer the MS-1 to the lower level Grado's

Creative ep-630: punchy, strong bass; nice mids especially for a $25 pair; highs leave something to be desired; microphonics are an issue if you move around a lot; overall good value

Edit: I see the MS2i's and the Pro's but not the ms1's (priced $99.00 USD), they are open as well.
