It was nice meeting Eric at Bottlehead fest yesterday. I was able to hear Eric's amp along with all the tube gear. I have to say his little amp sounded very sweet with great bass IMHO. I'll have some photos later this week.
There were three scratch built headphone amps there yesterday. A guy named Alan had a preamp with phone out that was awsome too. But Doc's amp is specal!
I'm pushing Doc to step up a little and make the Bottlehead amp a more high-end item. Let Doc know what you think too!

I too would prefer an amp with premium parts that can compete with some of the best out there versus an amp built at an entry level price point. Gotta keep pushing that envelope! Can't wait for the pics.
