My birthday is coming up in August and I've decided to get some new headphones. I decided that the Mr Speakers Mad Dog seemed the best choice for me and had a ton of positive reviews everywhere I looked. The question is though, should I get the Mad Dog Pro or the standard Mad Dog with alpha pads and an amp? I already own a Cambridge Audio Dacmagic Plus but I'm not completely sure it will drive the MDP's to their full potential. If I were to get an amp and the MD then the amp would have to be a cheap one that would add up (with the price of the MD and alpha pads) to the same price as the MDP on its own. Btw my full setup is a MacBook Air 13" using iTunes and Audirvana to the Dacmagic Plus via USB then to the headphones.
Also does anyone know the details of Mr Speakers delivery to the UK? Mainly the price in £ after shipping and stuff and the delivery time.
