headphone amp for akg k712 pro

greetings, 

i try to find a new amp to use with my k712 pro, but what will be the best for about 150 euro,
been looking at fiio k5, but is that strong enough, 

i should say that my onboard soundcard can play loud enough. but i read everywhere that an amp can make my k712 pro sound better,
also seen magni 2 but that only have 6 month warranty here in europe, so im not too sure about that,

Yeah, both K5 and Magni 2 will work well with the K712.
Check the E12 and A5 if you want some portability.

okay thanks, it will only be used at home, mostly with my pc,

like pc sound card, console, and my monitors headphone jack,?

or is there better cables or inputs to use, ?

Yes, you can use the K5 as a preamp  for your monitors and also fed by your soundcard or other source.
That cable should work just fine. You'll find more fancy/expensive cables out there but that one should work anyway.
