Hi guys,

I'm new so please ignore my ignorance. I'm looking at getting a set of modest headphones for gaming and listing to drum and bass. I was thinking of getting the Sennheiser 555's and i have access to a Project Headbox 2 amp. I'll be running them through an Asus Xonar DX 7.1 sound card.

Is there anything wrong with this picture?

Not at all, long as you like ths sound signature of the 555 you should be fine.

No worries - everyone was new at one time. Your setup should be fine, give it a try! For a free upgrade, try running lossless files instead of MP3s.

Yep - certainly a low budget customer

I can get the 555's and Project amp for about £100. Will hopefully suit my needs.
