Headbox, consider it... returned!

Hello!

I'm new to these forums but i'm hoping to stick around, I can't believe a forum for headphones has 58,000 members!

Anyway, I'm moving into a new flat soon and sound is going to be an issue. I already have a pair of Sennheiser HD555s and being all smart I went and bought a Pro-ject Headbox SE amplifier.

However... after spending two minutes researching it on here I returned it (just back from the post office actually) and I just bought a Little Dot III off eBay!

What's the plan of action when it arrives? I've read you need to run it in? I was planning on playing pink noise through it for a couple of days, is it okay to stop if every now and then to listen to a few records?

Welcome aboard and Sorry about your wallet. See you're already upgrading.

Just use it. If you want to burn it in then run your usual music through it at moderate and varying levels while you're not actually listening to it. Part of the "fun" can be listening to see if you can hear audible difference as the items burn in.
