Looks like easy to be broken. Shaking within just a little bit force on the headband. Any ideas to have a more solid headband?

I bought a new pair of On1 this holiday and suddenly found the new one has better sound clarity and extension but slightly softer bass performance. Could you tell me if the sound character of this model has been adjusted after its first launch?
