Elephas - that's quite an Esoteric stack you've got. I'm curious how much of a sonic difference the clock makes.

Who made the amp on the right side of the picture?

Justin from Headamp made it - it's called the Aristaeus. it is, afaik, a mutation of the HEV90, and is considered one of the best amps for the HE90

Not a mutation at all. Same basic amp circuitry but with a far better PSU, better build quality and parts used.

Sounds like a mutation to me

Are you saying that a cheap switching power supply is not worthwhile in a $5,000+ amplifier!?!?

Switchers should never be used in audio so no. They are a fact of life in digital gear but their use in amps makes no sense to me at all.

Nicely Done Elephas! Thanks for the pics. Hardly seems fair since a human can only use 1 pair of headphones at a time

Elephas,

Who makes the stand that's on top of the wood console table? And are you happy with it?

Have you received your BHSE yet? I understand you were #10 on the list. Has anyone else lower on the list received their unit yet?

No, and no response from Justin since Feb. 8.
