I just happen to be sitting here with a headache and listening to some music. I thought I would ask if people find that listening to headphones while having a headache causes it to get better or worse?

For me listening to music during a headaches caused by neckstrain or stress can help me relax and slowly sooth the headache. Eyestrain or some hayfever headaches will only get worse while listening. What is your experiences and what music do you find helps sooth the headaches away?

It depends...
I find some music relaxing, and hence may help a headache. While other music do not help at all

Just take break or play Jazz or certain Classical pieces on a lower volume. Music that is too in your face or high paced and activating can make it worse.

Silence can indeed be very quieting...

I need it to be as quiet as possible, since my headaches nowadays are often migraines... I basically have to shut the door and turn off the lights and try to sleep it off. No music for me

Always makes it worse for me. Excedrin makes it better.
