I'm requesting a little more customized help. I've looked at the above headphones and I just want to get some opinions. I listen to mostly Alternative, techno, rock, and electronic music. I like a bass that booms but not if that means sacrificing other ranges. The RE2 with Fiio amp seems like a good match up based on what I've read so far. I'm going to be buying these off Ebay to save a bit of cash. (got a certificate for it) I'm aware of counterfeits and I'm just looking to use the certificate for something that's all. With that being said, which would you recommend for my music tastes?

EDIT: I've been using some Skull candy headphones for the past year, I'm sure anything would sound better at this point, so that's why I ask

The C551s will give you the best bass, but the sf 5s are the most balanced and musical.

Actually, scratch the bass. I really want to hear the higher ranges. I'll stick to my skull candy for bass since they can really boom. I've read that the C551's aren't that good at the high ranges. If a super fi 5 is good all around, I'll buy a pair of those then. I've read that the RE2 is analytical, but just too bass light. If thats correct, the fi 5 seem good for higher ranges while not sacrificing too much on the low range right? Thanks

EDIT: I like a little classical, and guitar based music, thats why I don't want a bass one. I think I'd like to hear a higher range more better for a change

I know how annoying it is to check if something seems genuine, Ultimate Ears Super Fi 5 Noise Isolating Earphones BULK - eBay (item 170436443586 end time Feb-22-10 10:33:36 PST)
but do those seem alright? I look at the price and it's just one of those, you get what you pay for cases.
