Thanks! I saw that on the main page too and I'm thinking of joining the drop when it goes live.
 
It's quite different from the RE-1 though (assuming its a revision to the RE-0). The RE-1 had a lush midrange and rolled of treble, while the original RE-0 was a bit bright and had a slightly recessed midrange.
 
What they will undoubtedly have in common is sub par quality control, driver/cable failures! 4 x RE-1, 1 x RE-400, 1 x RE-600 all of which died on me. I'm looking to find a used RE-1, hoping that if it hasn't had a fault so far it would serve me well for a couple of years! My other 6 Hifiman/Head-direct IEMs ceased working within hours to under 2 months of owning them :)
