    hi, i got a pair of hifiman he400 from amazon.de and i'm pretty sure it's the revision 3, i'll post some photos

    i'm loving the sound but the highs, the highs get too sibilant and hurt me ears (like actual pain not proverbial pain)
    so how can i get this exchanged for the new revision? the seller is not being very helpful.

    Just wanted to say that the customer service is excellent. Got brand new replacement for my RE272. There was mild short circuit in the right earpiece wire near the strain relief. Detectable only when moved to certain angle.

    I ordered the HE-400 from Head-Direct's Amazon storefront (only because I had a giftcard to use). I was expecting them to ship USPS from within the US (I'm in the US). However, my shipping notice is FedEx from Hong Kong. My only concern is returning them during the 30-day window should they not fit my needs- will I be required to ship them back to Hong Kong or will I be able to return them via USPS? Of course, hopefully I will be keeping them but this is still a concern!

    @erichd....I ordered a RE-400 yesterday, having not read any review, other than Clieos stating in a post that the RE-400 was a lot like the RE-262, which I did not like at all.  So, I went to the order on Head-direct and cancelled the order.......can you tell me how long it takes for my Paypal to be refunded?
